SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT
MHS Planning & Design is seeking a full‐time senior level Landscape Architect in the Dallas‐Fort Worth Metroplex. The primary line of work is park planning and commercial/residential landscape architecture; however, we are a diverse, multi discipline group so a willingness to coordinate with other disciplines in completing projects is essential. Project work will include park planning and design, residential/commercial layout and design development, downtown redevelopment, streetscape design, and general site planning.
Responsibilities

Manage a team that consists of landscape designers, civil engineers, and other senior staff

Develop conceptual design for a wide range of projects

Review and oversee the production of construction documents and details in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software

Construction Administration for a wide range of projects including but not limited to parks, amenity centers, streetscapes, and downtown redevelopments

Consultant/Client coordination
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture with 8+ years of experience in the industry

An interest in outdoor recreation and creating innovative public spaces

Vast knowledge of plant materials, terminology, and planting design

Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Modeling/Rendering, and Microsoft Office Suite software

Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and technical skills

Ability to work at a multi‐discipline company in a collaborative project team setting

Maintain effective communication with project team members, and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and ability to adhere to a schedule and use resources effectively
