CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Interested candidates must have a willingness to plan all phases of the construction lifecycle from initiation to completion on various designs for Residential and Commercial Developments, Public Spaces, Trails, Parks and Sports Complexes throughout the State of Texas.

​Responsibilities

  • Manage the construction services department

  • Review & oversee cost estimates for consistency and preciseness

  • Develop & ensure all projects are aligned with agreed-upon plans while adhering to the budget & timeline.

  • Communicate with clients and delivers project progress reports.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, electricians, & other specialists.

  • Write and submit testing and inspection logs, quality assurance reports, and punch lists.

  • Use scheduling software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Ensure that all local, state, & national building codes and regulations are followed & permits and/or licenses are obtained.

  • Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed


Requirements:

  • An interest in outdoor recreation and creating innovative public spaces

  • Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • A desire to grow professionally in a small company environment

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • 5+ years of experience in construction management

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in construction science and management, engineering, architecture, business administration, or a related degree

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly with Excel)

  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles

Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000 depending on experience​
