GRADUATE ENGINEER
Do you have a passion for outdoor recreation, a desire to grow professionally, and a solid work ethic? If so, MHS Planning may be a perfect fit for you. We are looking for an entry to mid-level civil engineer to join our firm located in Tyler, TX. Interested candidates must have a willingness to perform general civil engineering tasks in support of a project manager on various designs for Residential and Commercial Developments, Public Spaces, Trails, Parks and Sports Complexes throughout the State of Texas.
​Responsibilities

Support senior staff with preliminary design, plan production and construction administration for a wide range of projects

Produce precise and consistent cost estimatesï‚·

Support designers, civil engineers and senior staff with research and site analysisï‚·
-
Production of construction documents using Civil 3Dï‚·

Consultant/Client coordination
Requirements:
-
An interest in outdoor recreation and creating innovative public spaces

Strong communication, leadership, and technical skills
-
A desire to grow professionally in a small company environment

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
-
Entry Level to 6 years of experience in Civil Engineering and Plan Production

Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly with Excel)

EIT Certification or willing to take the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam
