
John Paul Jones Park

MHS Planning & Design worked with the City of Garland to design John Paul Jones Park with our primary focus being the redevelopment of the boat parking and launch facility. This park sits along the shores of Lake Ray Hubbard and is heavily utilized for aquatic recreation.
The MHS team developed a preliminary cost estimate and a total construction budget of $5,095,423.30. Aside from day use boating facilities this project also included a fishing pier, kayak launch, courtesy dock, restroom, picnic and seating nodes, regional trail connections, and over 300 feet of headwall for shoreline reclamation.
