MHS partnered with the Town of Flower Mound to plan renovations and improvements for Tealwood Oaks Park. This project included replacement of trail sections to ensure TAS compliance, two new bridges for trail crossings, improved drainage, replaced site furniture, and updated gathering spaces.

Challenges faced during the design and construction documentation process included ensuring that connections between new and existing trails met with all standards, and maintaining positive site drainage so that it would not effect residential areas in close proximity to the park.

The improvements made guarantees that Tealwood Oaks Park remains accessible for all community members of Flower Mound.
