MHS Planning & Design partnered with the City of Winnsboro to design and fully realize the Market Street Redevelopment project. This project transformed an existing street to a pedestrian only thoroughfare which incorporated gathering spaces, seating noted, a central water feature and public art. This project created a central plaza space for the City, which is further reinforced by the rhythm of larger tree plantings and repeating spaces. 

Future phases of the project will further develop some of the conceptual work from our schematic design phase, primarily a central stage and event space, additional streetscape elements and artwork, and a music note themed shade structure.
